TEF Canada weekly planning
TEF Canada Study Plan: build your weekly schedule
A TEF Canada study plan should assign each session a job. Weekly planning is different from the broad preparation method: this guide converts your current evidence and available time into a repeatable schedule.
Quick answer
What should you know about TEF Canada Study Plan: build your weekly schedule?
Choose one primary weakness, schedule two focused repair sessions, keep short maintenance work for stronger skills, add one productive task and review the week before deciding whether a timed component is useful.Set the weekly priority from evidence
Use a recent practice result, recording or writing review. Name the narrow cause: paraphrase, final listening decision, task completion, question organization, persuasion or language control. A plan built around 'improve French' is too vague to measure.
Use a four-block schedule
Every week needs learning, focused practice, correction and transfer. Short weeks can combine two blocks in one session; longer weeks can repeat the highest-priority block.
- Learn: language or task method.
- Practise: one narrow ability.
- Correct: explain errors and rewrite or rerecord.
- Transfer: use fresh material under a tighter limit.
Example five-hour week
Use two 60-minute sessions for the weakest skill, two 45-minute maintenance sessions for other abilities, one 60-minute productive task and 30 minutes to review the evidence and plan the next week. Replace a maintenance block with a timed component only when the format is already familiar.
Keep this page distinct from preparation and mocks
The preparation guide explains the complete learning system. This page owns weekly scheduling. The practice-test guide explains how to review activities, while the mock hub provides timed simulations. Link to the right page instead of repeating the same content everywhere.
