CELPIP Study Plan: build your weekly schedule
A CELPIP study plan assigns time to the task behind the score. This page owns the weekly schedule; the broader preparation guide explains the full learning system, and the CLB 9 page handles one specific target.
Quick answer
What should you know about CELPIP Study Plan: build your weekly schedule?
Use the diagnostic to select one primary weakness, schedule two focused repair sessions, practise one writing or speaking task, maintain stronger skills briefly and verify progress with fresh material before taking another full mock.Name a skill smaller than a component
Replace 'listening' with note mapping, attitude, final decision or paraphrase. Replace 'writing' with task coverage, organization, support, tone or sentence control. A smaller target makes the next session teachable and measurable.
Build a repeatable seven-day cycle
Place difficult work when attention is strongest and use shorter sessions for retrieval and maintenance.
- Day 1: diagnostic review and priority.
- Days 2 and 4: focused repair.
- Day 3: productive task and self-review.
- Day 5: fresh task verification.
- Weekend: correction review or mock when ready.
Adjust time without dropping a skill
With three weekly hours, use two 45-minute repair sessions, one 45-minute productive task and three short review blocks. With seven hours, add a complete component and deeper correction. Keep at least brief contact with all four abilities.
Decide when to use a mock
Take a full mock to measure pacing, transitions and endurance. Do not repeat mocks daily when the same weakness is still visible. Return to the diagnostic, task guide or clinic, then verify the repair with unfamiliar material.
